Another festival appearance for Motörhead. This one has fine sound quality, and finds Lemmy and crew in fine form. This line up is a live music machine, you never get a bad performance. This bootleg is worth the listen just to hear Motörhead cover Bob Seger's "Rosalie" and actually credit Bob Seger for writing it. A lot of metal bands have covered "Rosalie" but always say that it's a Thin Lizzy song. Bob Seger wrote and recorded it on his Back In '72 LP released in 1974. It is about CKLW Radio DJ Rosalie Trombley, a champion of local Michigan music. CKLW was actually based in Windsor, Ontario but ruled the Motor City air waves. If you had a hit on CKLW you had a career. The station is rumored to have wired the Detroit to Canada underwater tunnel as an antennae, thus making the water its wave amplifier. You could here CKLW as far east as Batavia, New York; as far south as Edgewood, Kentucky.
